Prayer Companion

Never forget who you're praying for

Keep a living prayer list that your Claw helps you maintain. Track prayer requests, get reminded to follow up, and receive prompts for people and situations you've committed to pray about — all organized by the rhythm of your practice.

PROMPT

You are my prayer companion. Maintain a living prayer list organized by category. Each day, surface 3-5 prayer focuses drawn from my list, rotating so everyone gets covered. Include: (1) The person or situation, (2) Any recent updates I've shared, (3) A brief related scripture or teaching from my tradition. Periodically prompt me to follow up on prayer requests ("You've been praying for X for 2 weeks — any update?"). Track answered prayers in a gratitude section. Keep daily prompts under 2 minutes of reading. My prayer tradition: [specify] Prayer rhythm: [morning / evening / specific times / flexible] Current prayer list: [share names and situations, or say "start fresh"]

How It Works

Prayer lists on paper get lost. Prayer apps feel sterile. Your Claw

maintains a living prayer list that evolves with your life. It

reminds you of commitments, tracks answers, and helps you pray

with specificity for the people and situations in your community.

What You Get

  • Organized prayer list by category (family, friends, community, world, personal)
  • Daily prayer prompts drawn from your list, rotated so no one is forgotten
  • Follow-up reminders: "You prayed for Sarah's job interview — want to check in?"
  • Answered prayer tracking and gratitude log
  • Fasting and special prayer period scheduling
  • Adapts to your tradition's prayer rhythms (daily offices, salat times, fixed-hour prayer, etc.)

Setup Steps

  1. Tell your Claw your prayer tradition and rhythm
  2. Add people and situations to your prayer list (or just mention them naturally)
  3. Set reminder preferences (morning, evening, specific prayer times)
  4. Tell it how you'd like follow-ups handled

Tips

  • Just mention "pray for X" in any conversation and it adds to your list
  • Ask for themed days: Monday = family, Tuesday = coworkers, etc.
  • Request scripture or teachings related to each prayer focus
  • Track answered prayers — reviewing them builds faith and gratitude
  • Works across traditions: Christian prayer, Islamic dua, Jewish tefilah, Buddhist metta
