PROMPT

Create a skill called "Weekly Deadline Report" for a lawyer. Every Monday morning at 7am, compile a comprehensive report of all deadlines, hearings, court dates, filing deadlines, and key events from my calendar and matter files. Organize the report in three sections: (1) THIS WEEK — everything due in the next 7 days, sorted by date and urgency. (2) NEXT TWO WEEKS — everything due in days 8-21, sorted by date. (3) 30-DAY LOOKAHEAD — everything due in days 22-30. For each item, show: matter name, deadline description, due date, estimated preparation time needed, and who's responsible (if delegated). Flag anything overdue in red. Send via email with a clean, scannable format. Also send a brief Telegram summary of just the critical items due this week.

How It Works

Monday morning: one email. Every deadline, hearing, filing, and key date

for the week ahead — plus a 30-day lookahead for anything approaching.

No more scrambling because you forgot about a filing.

What You Get

  • Prioritized list of all deadlines for the current week
  • 30-day lookahead for upcoming deadlines
  • Color-coded urgency (overdue / this week / next 2 weeks / 30 days)
  • Per-matter grouping so you can see your caseload at a glance
  • Preparation time estimates (this deadline needs X hours of work)
  • Delegation tracking (who's handling which deadline)
  • Links to relevant matter folders and documents

Setup Steps

  1. Connect your calendar and matter management data
  2. Set your preferred delivery time (default: Monday 7am)
  3. Choose delivery channel (email, Telegram, Slack)
  4. Add preparation time estimates for recurring deadline types

Tips

  • Review the 30-day lookahead every Monday — start preparing early
  • Use delegation tracking to ensure nothing assigned to associates falls through
  • The preparation time estimate helps with weekly workload planning
  • Share relevant sections with your legal assistant for coordination
