If you would like to access Kilo and our related services, you must become a registered user and provide your name, email address, and organization name. Additionally, you can choose to provide a recovery phone number, your time zone, and language preference.
Social Channel content
If you choose to connect a social media channel to Kilo, we will log associated information such as your username and profile picture to provide a consistent experience in our portal.
We may collect information through your messages with our customer support team if necessary. This could include account information, billing information, or any content that requires support.
Who has access to your information?
Kilo does not sell or profit from your information. All information shared with us is restricted to authorized employees and affiliates unless required by third-parties such as your social media channels or external integrations.

These situations could include customer support tickets or identity validation wherein your information would enable our team to help you or respond to a request. How we protect your information
Protecting your privacy is of the utmost importance to us at Kilo. We have instated administrative measures to safeguard your information from unauthorized or unlawful destruction and alteration, unauthorized access, and misuse. Additionally, all information you share with us is encrypted to ensure your privacy to the best of our ability. While these protections are maintained, we cannot guarantee that your information will not be accessed, altered, or destroyed in a breach of our security measures.
Any illegal breaches of security, privacy, or confidentiality of your information will be reported to you by email or on your dashboard in a reasonably timed and conspicuous fashion.
Your rights regarding personal information
While using Kilo, you have full control over accessing and editing your account information and billing information. Certain jurisdictions grant you the right to access information about the personal information we collect from you and update inaccuracies, restrict our processing of it, delete it, or transfer it to another company. However, if you are not a resident in a jurisdiction that provides this right, you may contact us at any time to submit a request for update or deletion. If you choose to delete your information, this may restrict your access to Kilo. Similarly, at any point you may also revoke our access to your social media channels.
You possess the right to issue a complaint to a data protection authority regarding our collection and storage of your information. Additionally, if we have collected any information without your consent, you may withdraw your consent at your discretion.
Kilo is intended for users above thirteen (13) years of age. If a parent or legal guardian discovers that their child has provided us with personal information without consent, they should contact our support team for removal of such information. Under no circumstance do we knowingly request personal information from anyone under the age of thirteen without consent from a parent or legal guardian. Any user of our service must verify their age upon registration to confirm that they are not a minor.
Kilo does not permanently store information that we have collected from you. We hold your information so long as there is a legitimate functional need to do so. Data from social media channels such as login information and feeds are retrieved in real time for viewing during your session. We store preferences and settings you have determined along with drafted content for easy access while using the application. Your information is only retained as long as you have requested for us to provide you with our service and to comply with legal obligations. If you choose to deactivate your account, we will securely delete your stored information or anonymize it for aggregated data reporting.
