How to connect Google AI Studio to Kilo
- 1
Create a Google AI Studio gemini api authorization key
Sign in to Google AI Studio, enable API billing if required, and create a credential for Kilo. Copy it when it is shown and keep it private.
- 2
Open Kilo BYOK settings
Open the Kilo BYOK page and choose Google AI Studio from the provider list.
- 3
Add the gemini api authorization key
Paste the Google AI Studio credential, complete any provider-specific fields, and save it. Kilo validates the configuration before using it.
- 4
Select a model and verify usage
Choose a model supplied by Google AI Studio, send a test request, and confirm the request appears in your provider usage dashboard.
Before you connect
- Use a current authorization key rather than a legacy unrestricted Standard key.
- Project quotas and billing determine model availability.
