Add a MiniMax API key to Kilo

The MiniMax Token Plan (Plus/Max/Ultra), previously bought with Kilo Credits in the Marketplace, has been discontinued. Bring your own MiniMax API key instead and pay MiniMax directly on standard pay-as-you-go billing.

How to connect MiniMax to Kilo

    Create a MiniMax minimax api key

    Sign in to MiniMax, enable API billing if required, and create a credential for Kilo. Copy it when it is shown and keep it private.

    Open Kilo BYOK settings

    Open the Kilo BYOK page and choose MiniMax from the provider list.

  3. 3

    Add the minimax api key

    Paste the MiniMax credential, complete any provider-specific fields, and save it. Kilo validates the configuration before using it.

    Select a model and verify usage

    Choose a model supplied by MiniMax, send a test request, and confirm the request appears in your provider usage dashboard.

  • The MiniMax Token Plan can no longer be purchased — use a MiniMax API key (BYOK) or the Kilo Gateway to run MiniMax models in Kilo.
  • MiniMax API pricing varies by model — check MiniMax’s docs for current pricing.
