How to connect OpenRouter to Kilo

Create a OpenRouter openrouter inference api key
Sign in to OpenRouter, enable API billing if required, and create a credential for Kilo. Copy it when it is shown and keep it private.

Open Kilo BYOK settings
Open the Kilo BYOK page and choose OpenRouter from the provider list.

Add the openrouter inference api key
Paste the OpenRouter credential, complete any provider-specific fields, and save it. Kilo validates the configuration before using it.

Select a model and verify usage
Choose a model supplied by OpenRouter, send a test request, and confirm the request appears in your provider usage dashboard.
