Kilo "Automate Everything" Challenge - Official Rules

1. Eligibility

The Kilo "Automate Everything" Challenge is open to individuals aged 18 or older at time of entry. Employees of Kilo Code, Inc. ("Kilo") and their immediate family members are not eligible. Void where prohibited by law.

2. Challenge Period

The Challenge begins on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at 12:00 AM EST and ends on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at 11:59 PM EST. All submissions must be received within this window.

3. How to Enter

To enter, participants must:

  • Build an automation using Kilo Cloud Agents and webhooks (accessible at app.kilo.ai)
  • Create a video recording demonstrating their automation or provide a link to the deployed solution
  • Submit via the official Typeform, including: (a) a link to the video or deployed automation, and (b) a link to their social media post (optional; Kilo may repost or promote via official social channels at their discretion)

Limit one entry per person. Multiple submissions from the same individual will result in only the first valid entry being considered.

4. Prizes

  • First Place: $500 in Kilo Credits
  • Second Place: $250 in Kilo Credits
  • Third Place: $100 in Kilo Credits

All winners will also receive promotional features across Kilo's official channels, including but not limited to social media, blog, newsletter, and Discord community.

Kilo Credits are non-transferable and have no cash value. Credits will be applied to the winner's Kilo account and must be used within 90 days of issuance.

5. Judging Criteria

Submissions will be evaluated by Kilo based on:

  • Creativity and originality
  • Technical execution
  • Practical usefulness or entertainment value
  • Overall presentation

Judging decisions are final and at the sole discretion of Kilo.

6. Winner Notification

Winners will be notified via the contact information provided in their submission within 14 days of the Challenge end date. Winners must respond within 7 days to claim their prize. Failure to respond may result in forfeiture and selection of an alternate winner.

7. Content Rights

By entering, participants grant Kilo a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, and display their submission and social media posts for promotional purposes. Participants retain ownership of their original work.

8. Modifications

Kilo reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Challenge at any time and for any reason, including changes to rules, eligibility, judging criteria, prizes, or deadlines. Continued participation after any modifications constitutes acceptance of those changes.

9. Liability

Kilo is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, or misdirected entries.

10. Privacy

Information collected from participants will be used in accordance with Kilo's Privacy Policy.

11. Governing Law

This Challenge is governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles.
